Árstíðir is a band out of Iceland, but roots in the harmonies of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. Playing guitars, violin, piano and cello, these musicians assay some of the introspective songs of their album, Hvel with vocal harmonies that will leave you breathless.

Wednesday, September 30 - Interview: Kristin Hoffmann

Singer-songwriter Kristin Hoffmann makes a music she calls “Ethereal Renaissance Pop.” Her album "The Human Compass" is a spiritual exploration through a tumultuous time in her life. And on another new album, "Amazing Space," she scores an electro-acoustic journey that accompanies images of the universe from the Hubble space telescope.

Thursday, October 1 - Interview: Olafur Arnalds

Ólafur Arnalds has just released a new album with Nils Frahm. He also has a recent recording called The Chopin Project, scored the BBC TV series, Broadchurch, and recorded an electronic project as Kiasmos.

Friday, October 2 - New Music

We'll hear new music from flute players Sherry Finzer and Mark Holland. We'll also check out the latest release from Erik Wøllo. The Norwegian guitarist has a limited edition CD of spacey melodic electronics called Echotides.
